Author Guidelines

Journal of Science of the University of Kelaniya
General
Manuscripts submitted in all fields of natural and applied sciences are considered for publication in the Journal of Science of the University of Kelaniya on the understanding that they have not been published, submitted, or accepted for publication elsewhere. A submitted manuscript will be initially screened by the chief editor of the journal, and if the manuscript is within the scope of the journal, it will be sent to the reviewers in the respective field for peer review. Based on the comments and recommendations of the reviewers, the editorial board will make the final decision on the manuscript.

Types of Papers

The journal welcomes three types of articles.
  1. Original research papers are original manuscripts that contain new findings in research consistent with the Journal’s aims and scope. Original research papers should not exceed 10000 words.
