AJLIM – Advanced Journal Library and Information Management - Author Guidelines
Journal Scope and Focus
The AJLIM - Advanced Journal of Library and Information Management publishes high-quality research articles, reviews, and case studies on topics related to library science and information management. We are particularly interested in work that advances theory, methodology, and practice in these fields.
Types of Submissions
Research Articles: Original research with substantial findings.
Review Articles: Comprehensive reviews of current literature and emerging trends.
Case Studies: Detailed examinations of specific instances within library and information management.
Short Communications: Brief reports on novel or preliminary findings.
Manuscript Preparation
General Requirements
Language: Manuscripts must be written in English.
Length: Research articles should be between 1,500 and 2,000 words. Reviews and case studies can be up to 10,000 words. Short communications should not exceed 2,500 words.
Formatting: Manuscripts should be typed in 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins on all sides.
Structure
While it is not required, it is typically convenient to break the papers into sections such
Abstract: A concise summary of the research (150-250 words) that includes the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions.
Keywords: 3-5 keywords that encapsulate the main topics of the article.
Introduction: Background information, literature review, and the study’s objectives.
Methodology: Detailed explanation of research design, data collection, and analysis methods.
Results: Presentation of research findings, using tables and figures as necessary.
Discussion: Interpretation of results, comparison with existing literature, and implications.
Conclusion: Summary of findings and recommendations.
Acknowledgments: Any credits or funding sources, if applicable.
References: List all cited works in APA 7 style.
Figures and Tables
Submit figures and tables separately from the main text, with clear captions. High-resolution images (minimum 300 dpi) are required. If you send the figures and table in separate sheets, please label each figure and table with their numbers and the name of the author.
Photographs must be of good quality, printed on glossy paper. Photocopies and the photocopies of the photomicrographs are not acceptable. Color photographs are accepted only when it is very essential to describe the text.
References
Follow APA (7th edition) citation style. Ensure all references cited in the text are included in the reference list.Submission Process
Manuscript Submission
Manuscripts should be submitted via the journal’s online submission system. A submission checklist is available on the journal’s website.
Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors will be notified of the review results within 8-12 weeks.
Revision
Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer feedback. Revised manuscripts should be resubmitted within the specified deadline.
Ethical Considerations
Originality
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Plagiarism will not be tolerated.
Conflict of Interest
Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
Human Rights
Research involving human participants must adhere to ethical standards and include a statement of ethical approval.
Copyright and Licensing
Copyright
Upon acceptance, authors will be required to transfer copyright to the AJLIM - Advance Journal of Library and Information Management.
Open Access
The journal operates under an open-access model. Authors may need to pay article processing charges (APCs) upon acceptance.
