Submissions
All manuscripts should be submitted via email to jhu@kln.ac.lk
All manuscripts should be in MS Word format.
Authors are required to provide their personal, validated ORCID ID (http://www.orcid.org) if available. The ORCID ID will be displayed in the first page of the published article.
Submissions are accepted in English and Sinhala.
Submissions are accepted for processing on the understanding that they will be reviewed and that they have not been submitted for publication elsewhere.
Manuscripts must be typed, double-spaced and single-sided and numbered using Arial font size 10.
Title of the article should be in Arial font size 14.
Tables and figures should be printed in separate pages and should be numbered in the order in which they are referred to in the text, e.g. : (Table 1), (Figure 1).
All acronyms used repeatedly should be cited in its entirety along with abbreviation in parentheses on first reference. e.g. : University of Kelaniya (UOK)
All subsequent citations should use only the abbreviations.
All submitted manuscripts are subject to peer review and revision; those that are accepted will be edited according to the standards of the journal.
The manuscripts submitted to the JHU will initially be pre-screened by the Editorial Board. Only if suitable they will be referred to at least two subject experts in the relevant field.
The peer review process of the JHU is double-blind.
