Aims and scope
The Journal of Multidisciplinary and Translational Research (JMTR), published biannually by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal under Sri Lanka Journals Online (SLJOL) platform.
The objective of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and researchers all over the world to promote, share, and discuss innovative ideas and developments in all disciplines of study. JMTR aims to promote scholarly research that transcends disciplinary boundaries and contributes to advancing knowledge. To expand the readership, starting with volume VIII issue II (2023), JMTR will only publish articles in English. The Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka covers the cost of publication on behalf of the authors on acceptance of their article.
Papers are accepted in the form of Full-length original research papers, invited lead articles, review papers, short communications, research notes, case/clinical reports, reviews of scientific books, opinions, commentaries and notes. Every submitted manuscript will undergo a systematic process to ensure and maintain a high academic standard. The submission of a manuscript will be taken to imply that it is original, and it or a similar paper (other than an abstract) should not be concurrently submitted elsewhere for publication.
All articles published by the journal are deposited with Crossref.
The journal publishes one volume annually under two issues: Issue I (June) and Issue II (December).
