Publisher Statement
The Journal of Multidisciplinary & Translational Research (JMTR) is published by the Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS), University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. The publisher is committed to maintaining high standards of academic quality, ethical publishing practices, and editorial independence. JMTR is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that follows internationally recognized principles of scholarly publishing and publication ethics. FGS fully supports the guidelines and best practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Editorial decisions are made independently by the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board, without publisher interference. The publisher ensures transparency in peer review, ethics, complaints, and appeals.
Responsibilities of the Publisher
The Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Kelaniya, as the publisher of the Journal of Multidisciplinary and Translational Research (JMTR), is responsible for supporting the journal’s publishing functions and ensuring the smooth operation of its editorial processes.
- To uphold the independence of the Editorial Board and ensure that editorial decisions are made without external influence.
- To ensure the protection of authors’ rights, confidentiality, and all relevant legal and ethical obligations related to published content.
- To provide continuous support to maintain the academic standards, credibility, and reputation of the journal.
- To facilitate the necessary administrative and operational assistance required for the editorial team to uphold ethical publishing and publication integrity.
