Archiving Policy

The Journal of Multidisciplinary and Translational Research (JMTR) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all its published content. To achieve this, the journal implements the following measures:

  • 1. LOCKSS System: JMTR participates in the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system, which allows participating libraries to harvest the journal’s content and create permanent distributed archives for preservation and restoration.
  • 2. Institutional Archiving: All articles are securely stored in the Faculty of Graduate Studies’ Google Drive, providing backup, redundancy, and long-term access.
  • 3. External Backups: Additional copies of all content are maintained on secure hard drives to protect against technical failures and ensure permanent availability.

These measures guarantee that JMTR articles remain accessible to researchers, libraries, and readers indefinitely.
